There is no requirement to use a single vendor. A typical mixed configuration: Azure AD for identity (already mandatory in many corporate groups), open source tooling for operational and financial systems to keep costs low.
For example: Azure AD (identity) + Mailcow (email) + Twinfield (finance) + Mattermost (alerts) + MinIO (storage) is a fully supported mixed configuration. Any combination of the tools shown above works.
